Breathwork
Being both a counsellor and breathwork facilitator gives me dual expertise. I integrate my counselling skills and knowledge with my breathwork sessions and after care support.
My breathwork practice is underpinned by the same ethical guidelines that underpin my work as a counsellor, these being; Care; Empathic Understanding; Respect; Support; Non-Judgement and Confidentiality.
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is a holistic therapy in which you are led through various breathing techniques that consciously control the breath, to help improve your mental and physical health.
Breathwork can enable trauma release, facilitate a deeper connection with yourself and enhance your present moment awareness.
There are many different modalities of breathwork - I specialise in Conscious Connected Breathwork (CBB) because of it's efficacy in treating people who have experienced trauma. I combine counselling and CBB where appropriate.

One-to-One Breathwork
(in person or online)
I offer one to one Conscious Connected Breathwork (CBB) sessions, in person or online. One-to-One CBB Sessions can also include or be a part of counselling sessions.
Cost - £95 (90 minutes)
Group Breathwork
(in person or online)
I run in person group CCB sessions in both Bristol and Shrewsbury – please see the 'Up Coming Group Sessions' section below for more information or to book.
I can also facilitate a group CCB session at your request, for corporate events, wellbeing events or retreats. Please sign up via the contact form to receive information about these sessions.
Cost - varies; please contact me to discuss
Combined Counselling and Breathwork
(in person or online)
I offer a Counselling and CCB (CCCB) package - this is one-to-one only. This combination offers you the space to deeply think, talk, breathe and reflect into aspects of your life, relationships, experiences and ways of being.
Sessions last 150 minutes and work best when they are attended every two weeks - this allows time for integration and rest between sessions. I recommend 10 sessions of working in this way.
Cost £175 (150 minutes)
HOW I GOT INTO BREATHWORK
A few years ago a good friend of mine recommended a breathwork retreat to me as I had been feeling a little 'stuck'. While I knew the reasons behind my feeling this way and was receiving counselling, I just couldn't shake the feeling. My brain knew I was safe, well and ready to move forward but my body just hadn't got the memo!
I went along to the retreat (albeit a little suspicious) and it blew my mind! Conscious Connected Breathwork for me felt cathartic and easily accessible. I was in control and able to go at my pace. While the work was deep, there was also a feeling of joy, healing and much laughter.
Following the retreat, I incorporated a range breathwork practices into my own wellbeing routine, combined with counselling, and was able to move forward.
In 2023 I made a commitment to train in Breathwork so as to safely facilitate groups and individuals looking to experience Conscious Connected Breathwork. I combine my counselling and psychotherapy skills and training into my breathwork sessions to guarantee the highest level of ethical and professional care for my clients; before, during and after sessions.
